Normans Bay Caravan Park Park Rules
Respecting Our Community and Preserving the Peace
Welcome to Normans Bay Caravan Park! To ensure that all caravan owners, their families, and guests can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant experience at the park, we kindly ask that everyone adheres to the following camp rules. These guidelines are in place to protect the tranquil nature of our park, ensure safety, and maintain our welcoming community atmosphere.
1. General Conduct
Normans Bay Caravan Park is a peaceful retreat, and we ask all visitors to respect the quiet and serene nature of the park.
- Quiet Hours: We ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone. Please be mindful of your neighbors, especially when socializing outdoors.
- Respect for Others: Treat fellow owners, their families, and guests with courtesy and respect at all times. Abusive or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in you being asked to leave the park.
2. Caravan Maintenance and Appearance
Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the park is a shared responsibility. Owners are expected to keep their caravans and the surrounding areas in good condition.
- Caravan Condition: All caravans must be well-maintained and in good repair. If your caravan requires repair or maintenance, please ensure this is completed promptly to keep the park looking its best.
- Grounds: The area around your caravan should be kept tidy and free of clutter. Any garden furniture, decorations, or plants should not obstruct paths or encroach on neighboring plots.
- Modifications: Any structural modifications or extensions to caravans must first be approved by park management to ensure they comply with park regulations.
3. Visitors and Guests
Normans Bay Caravan Park is a private site, and only caravan owners, their families, and invited guests are permitted to stay.
- Guests: Caravan owners are welcome to invite friends and family to stay at the park. Guests should be aware of and follow the park rules.
- Visitor Limits: Please note that the number of guests staying in your caravan should not exceed the caravan’s designated sleeping capacity.
- Parking for Guests: Visitors must park in designated parking areas and avoid blocking any access roads.
4. Pets
We understand that pets are part of the family, and we welcome them at Normans Bay Caravan Park. However, we ask that pet owners follow these guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents.
- Leashes: Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when outside your caravan. Please do not allow pets to roam freely around the park.
- Waste: Pet owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste in the designated bins provided.
- Noise: Please ensure your pets do not cause disturbances to other residents. Continuous barking or aggressive behavior may result in a request for you to remove the pet from the park.
5. Vehicles and Parking
To maintain the safety and flow of the park, please observe the following vehicle rules:
- Speed Limit: The speed limit within the park is 5 MPH. Please drive carefully to ensure the safety of pedestrians, children, and pets.
- Parking: Each caravan is allocated one parking space. All vehicles must be parked in designated visitor parking areas.
- Vehicle Condition: All vehicles must be roadworthy and insured. The use of unlicensed or uninsured vehicles is prohibited within the park.
6. Waste Disposal and Recycling
Keeping the park clean and environmentally friendly is important to us.
- Waste Bins: General waste should be disposed of in the bins provided. Please ensure waste is securely bagged before being placed in the bins.
- Large Items: If you have large items to dispose of (e.g., furniture, appliances), please arrange removal with the appropriate local services. Do not leave these items by the waste bins.
7. Barbecues and Open Fires
While we encourage outdoor enjoyment, we have guidelines regarding barbecues and fires to ensure safety:
- Barbecues: Portable barbecues are allowed but must be used in a safe manner and kept away from caravans and gas cylinders. Never leave a lit barbecue unattended.
- Open Fires: Open fires and fire pits are strictly prohibited anywhere within the park. This rule helps prevent accidents and ensures the safety of all guests.
8. Children’s Safety
We welcome families and ask that parents and guardians supervise their children at all times.
- Play Areas: Please ensure children use the designated play areas safely and respect the park’s facilities.
- Supervision: Children must not be left unattended around the park, especially near vehicles and other caravans.
9. Park Facilities
We ask that all residents treat park facilities with care and respect.
- Shared Spaces: Common areas, such as benches and walkways, should be kept clean and free of personal items.
- Maintenance: If you notice any maintenance issues, please report them to park management immediately so they can be addressed.
By following these rules, we can all enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Normans Bay Caravan Park. Thank you for your cooperation in helping maintain this special community.
